Yes Marshall that is correct. However, with yahoo, you must sign up with a separate account for the UK.

I just chatted with a Google AdWords rep and she claims that if I, for example, target the UK, my ads will show up on Google.co.uk. Assuming that is correct (which I don’t see why it wouldn’t be), then you have to do nothing but target the appropriate country and your ad will appear where the traffic is.

Hi Derek,

Great post! Question about how to go about targeting the UK, Canadian and other markets. If I target, say the UK, from my Google.com AdWords account, will these ads show up on Google.co.uk? Or will they only show up for someone in the UK searching on Google.com?

Funny you mention that because I had just started a campaign in Canada for a US offer and the traffic ratio in comparison to the US campaign is higher than the ratio of people in Canada vs US (yes, I am big enough of a dork to have looked it up)
