I gave up twittering long time ago. I might go back to twitter now. It is a good source of blog traffic as well.

I use TwitterFeed.com which does the same thing as I also had problems with the wordpress plugin… TwitterFeed.com works great, so I’d recommend trying it out instead.

I’d “Tweet” more if I could get my damn Twitter plugin on my blog working. For every blog post, it would post about 10 tweets…essentially spamming my profile. Not good.

Yeah, I think the easiness of it helps out a lot. The fact that you can converse with people instantly like an Instant Messenger, but in a group setting (without the creepiness / outdated feeling of AOL/YAHOO chat rooms) is also great.

Plus, twitter has helped me solve some problems and answer random questions within minutes instead of digging for hours on end. One out of my 800+ followers has the answer and is ready to let me know too

I still say it’s just the convenience and accessibility of Twitter that is bringing so much hype to it. Txt’ing is just easier now..

Derek, good tips re: Twitter. I was just looking into customizing my profile page yesterday. I wish they would improve the Twitter interface. I don’t like the way they have a linear thread and you have to click out to view someone’s tweets.
