Hey Guys, I’ve been receiving a ton of emails lately asking me why I haven’t posted at all during the month of November. Also, I’ve received a ton of emails this month asking if I was going to do any consultation specials like I’ve been doing. So this post is to answer both of those questions.

I’ve been around, no where in particular… I’ve been doing a ton of thinking this month about my online businesses and some other things going on in my life. Internet Marketing is the best thing that has ever happened to me and I have no plans whatsoever of ever quitting this business… I absolutely love it!

I also have no plans whatsoever of quitting blogging here on Click Consultants. I truly enjoy helping others make it in this industry. However, there are a couple routes that I may take that may change how I do this. Some will require a ton of change to the way this blog works.

Also, if you really miss me that much I’ve really been trying to use social media more, so look in the sidebar and friend me if you want to stay in touch more!

Anyways, so no matter what direction I decide to take my business this upcoming year, it will most likely affect this blog in a huge way… I believe it will be for the best and will allow me to help even more people enter this fantastic industry!

I have a post I wrote about A/B split testing that I plan on releasing either tomorrow or the next day, but as soon as I get that post out of the way, I promise that I will write a post about some of the decisions I’ve been thinking about and hopefully I can get some feedback from my loyal readers!

Moving On… Consultation Rates for December

When I first made my consultation services public, I started offering monthly packages, however, if you remember in the very beginning, I said that I would only offer these special discounted packages if I had the time and open spots. You see, consultations is not my business… it’s brings me in maybe $2000 dollars a month. I don’t do it to make money, instead I’ve always done it to try to help people.

Anyways, I’ve been pretty busy these last two months, again because I have a lot of big plans for the 1st of the year and I’m trying to decide which path to take and get the work done to get there…

Because I’ve been so busy with personal projects, I had no intentions of offering any special discounted packages for the month of November or December…HOWEVER, because I’ve had so many emails bugging me, I’ve decided to free a small section of time. 5 hours total. This is the best I could do for both months with my projects and the holidays…

Anyways, so I apologize to everyone that was wanting to get some consultations done during the month of November and December and thought that I was offering these packages every month. I’m not! I simply can’t get more hours during the day…I keep praying for more time in each day, but God doesn’t seem to be listening to me

Good News!

Now for the good news, normally I charge $200 dollars per hour for consultations if you view my consultation page… Every month that I’ve offered special discounted packages, I’ve charged $100 dollars an hour.

However, because I have such limited space and I feel bad that so many people are wanting to get consultations yet I’ve been unable to offer them, AND because it’s coming up to Christmas and I’m feeling generous, I’m offering these five hours at a rate of only $50 per hour.

This is the lowest I’ve ever offered my consultation services! There is a catch though….

As you guys know, these special packages are not sold as a per hour type package. Which means I can only offer this deal to two people…

For the month of November and December I’m offering only two packages. Both packages are as follows.

2 and a 1/2 hours for $125 dollars.

Again, I have two of those packages available, which would be a total of 5 hours. Normally I allow people to buy as many as they want, meaning that normally someone could purchase the full 5 hours if they want, however, not this time. Anyone interested is only allowed to purchase one of the packages in order to allow more than one person to get the benefit of the monthly package.

Okay, this post is getting long, time to wrap it up…

One more thing I’d like to mention. Depending on the route I decide to take with this blog and my online businesses, I will most likely not be offering any special consultation packages during the month of January as well, so if you are interested, I’d suggest contacting me as soon as possible about picking up one of the two packages listed above!

As always, it’s first come first serve… So if you’re wanting to purchase a package, use the contact form to let me know ASAP!

PS: I’ll get the post up talking about the upcoming changes as soon as possible.

So, I got hit by the H1N1 I believe. I started getting a head cold sometime during the day on Friday. I was completely congested in my head, nose, etc. Started getting flu symptoms like the shivers, muscles ached, felt extremely week, etc. The flu symptoms didn’t really come on strong till Saturday evening.

Anyways, I’ve always been the type of person that when I do get sick, I can normally go to sleep that night and by the time I wake up the next day, I’m good! However, when I woke up Sunday morning it only got worse… I told myself that if I was still sick Monday I’d go to the doctors to get checked out cause of this whole swine flu thing…

Monday, I woke up and I was actually feeling a little better, so I decided I didn’t need to go, however, by Monday evening it hit me again, and to add on to everything else, my chest was extremely congested and I was wheezing when I’d breathe. Oh No! I figured I’d definitely go in now, cause it’s never good when you’re not breathing correctly! Of course, since it was Monday night, I decided that I might as well wait until Tuesday morning! LOL!

Tuesday morning I woke up and all my flu symptoms were gone, however, I was still having a rough time with my chest and being congested. However, being the great person I am (actually I just hate hospitals/doctors) I decided since all the rest of my symptoms was gone, I’d see what happened…

Anyways, It’s now Thursday, my chest is still a little congested, but it’s definitely getting better.

The whole reason for this post was to simply say this lol…I’m a little behind now because of this flu, so if I haven’t contacted you back yet I apologize. If you sent me an email, facebook message, twitter message, etc please be patient as I get caught back up!

I offered three packages last month, all of them were filled within a couple hours. Out of the 3 people that signed up for the packages, two of them are already making a profit in affiliate marketing starting with nothing!

This month, I only have 1 spot available, however, I decided to split it in to two smaller packages this month for those not looking for soo many hours.

Instead of the normal $200 dollars an hour rate, you can get my one on one consultations at the rate of $100 dollars an hour if you purchase the package.

There are two packages each at two and a half hours for $250 dollars. That’s a rate of only $100 dollars an hour, it saves you 50% off the normal price.

Again, these normally go fast, so if you’re interested you need to let me know as soon as possible as there are only two of these packages this month, and going in to the holidays, I’m doubting that they’ll be any during November or December at the discounted rate. If there are, again, there will only be maybe 1 or 2 spots.

You can use the contact form listed at the top of this blog to contact me by email, I’ll email you back and you’ll need to submit payment within an hour of getting an email back from me else, I’ll move on to the next person in line in order to give everyone equal opportunity.

If you have any questions, you can email me using the contact form, or you can leave a comment, I’ll answer as soon as possible in order to give you ample time to make a decision before someone else buys up the spots!

PS: If you are interested in buying the full 5 hours for $500 dollars, let me know in the email you send. I’ll consider it depending on how quickly others shoot me an email, but if possible I’d like to keep it at two spots to help more people.

Anyways, it really is a great phone and I’m enjoying it so much. One of the biggest reasons I decided to upgrade to the 3GS is because I was still on the edge network (super slow) and also I do a ton of video recording and use a flip ultra cause of it being so small and lightweight. The new iphone 3GS does video and the quality of it seems just as good as the flip ultra, so that’s a huge plus for me! One less thing to carry…

Anyways, so I’m not really writing this post to sell the iPhone, but you should check it out! I’m actually writing it because I thought I’d share some of my favorite apps that I found, some are only for the new iphone, some can be used on any of them!

If you have any favorite apps that you can’t live with, I’d love to hear about them in the comments! I’m always looking for new apps and honestly apples app store kinda sucks at showcasing good apps! They are in no particular order!

ColorSplash – Price $1.99 – This app allows you to take any picture in your library and make a certain part of it black and white or color. So you could have the background and everything in black and white and then the main object in color or vice versa. That’s all it does, but it can make for some great shots and really can spice up a boring image.

PocketGod – Price $0.99 – This app is like a mini game. The cool thing about it though is that the developer released small updates constantly which adds new aspects to the game each time. Basically you have some little islanders that your the god over and you can make good or bad things happen to them. When the developer releases an update it allows you to do something new to them!

TapDefense – Price Free – This is your basic tower defense game that most of you may have played online. It’s free and is pretty good, there are some paid ones on the app store, but I think this one does a great job and it’s free! Can’t beat that!

Zenonia – Price $2.99 – This is a game that is kinda like Zelda (the old snes one) but it’s also like an rpg in the fact that you can level up and get new skills, magic, etc. It’s a really cool game and it works great on the iphone. If you’re into rpgs you definitely need to check this one out, it’s definitely one of the best on the iPhone.

Waze – Price Free – This is a GPS unit for the iPhone and the great thing about it, is that it’s 100% free. Also, the maps and everything are user generated. It also adds a social aspect to the gps as well, it allows users to report traffic conditions, accidents, police, speedtraps, etc. It’s a really neat concept, however, there is one downside to it. If enough people don’t use it, it kinda sucks! So you definitely need to check out this app and use it!

Anyways, so that’s a couple of my favorite apps, I’d love to hear some of the ones other iPhone users are using on their phones! Post them in the comments below!

Anyways, I filled two of the spots, however, I’ve gotten about 20 emails with people asking me if I’d do smaller packages. I didn’t really think about it, but I guess some people don’t need 5 hours.

Anyways, so since I’ve had soooo many requests to do lower, I decided that I’ll split the last spot that is open into two and a half hour sessions for $250 each.

However, if I receive an email from someone wanting the 5 hours for $500 dollars before I receive a request for a two and a half hour spot, I will take that one and cancel out the two spots.

Use the contact form or email me at derek [at] clickconsultants [dot] com

One Spot Left at the Discounted Rate!

Hey guys, I’m constantly bombarded on a daily basis with emails from people asking if I do one on one consultations. I’ve never really advertised the fact that I do, and instead have simply offered it to members of the Click Consultants Affiliate Forum (29.99/month) and through word of mouth or by simply people that email me and ask.

Anyways, I thought that I’d finally once and for all make a page about my one on one consultations with all the information so that I could simply point people to it instead of having to answer all the emails with the same stuff over and over again. Much easier to send a link to a blog page!

After I made the page and was thinking about it, I realized that most of the people that send me the email and ask are blog readers anyways and also I thought that there might be people out there looking for it, but simply didn’t think of asking me if I offered it.

Let me say two things though, I don’t accept everyone (on the consultations page is a list of requirements) and I also have a very strict limit on how many people I’ll counsel with at a time during each month.

Anyways, if you want more infomation head over to this page which tells all about my consultation services, the price is $200 an hour, however, since I’m a little slow this month with work stuff and with consultations, I figured I’d offer a special rate to the first 3 people that email me (derek [at] clickconsultants [dot] com) or contact me through the contact form and send payment once they receive an email from me letting them know if they are one of the first three.

If you sign up for a five hour consultation package instead of the normal price of $200/hour, I’ll give them to you at the price of $100/hour.

Again this is only for the first three people that shoot me an email and then must send payment shortly after I reply with my paypal addy.

This is only a promotion for the public launch of my one on one consultation services and thought it would just be fun to give a couple people a good deal! I do not normally offer any discounts on my consultation services even if bought in bulk because I feel that the price I give is already low enough, so if you are interested, check out the consultation page and then shoot me an email or use the contact form!

I mean what’s the point of working from home and being able to travel and work if you don’t travel… So I’ve been looking at a couple places to go, most likely mid to end of September, just too swamped this month and the beginning of September (now you see why I don’t take vacations, I always have an excuse ) and I think I’ve figured out where I’m gonna head to when I go.

I’ve been looking at Savannah, GA I drove through and stayed the night there once when I was down in Florida on my way back home and I really enjoyed it. I love the beach but it seems that when I do go places it’s always someplace like Florida. Also I’ve been looking at their website and they seem to have some pretty cool stuff, like for example ghost tours… OOOOOoooooooo!!!

Anyways, so I’m wondering if anyone has vacationed there or live near there and can tell me if they think it would be a good spot to relax. I’m not worried about them having a ton of stuff to do, as to be honest I’m wanting to relax more than anything and not do a bunch of crap! However, I do want it to be nice. I heard Tybee Island is a really nice beach and it’s about 20 minutes from Savannah…

Anyways, give me some advice guys! Seems like a cool place, if you’ve been there, anything I should check out?

Hey guys, just a quick update on some things going on… The reason there has a been a bit of a lack of updates is because I’ve been doing some huge server work. I had a couple dedicated servers running all of my websites, however, when I setup all these servers I was convinced by someone to use DirectAdmin instead of Cpanel. So, I did!

Anyways, over the course of a couple years, I’ve grown more and more frustrated with using DirectAdmin and increasingly impatient with the problems it has caused, however, because there is no easy way to move all your files and databases over to cpanel, I’ve continued to hold off on doing it… Until now…

I’ve finally starting making the big switch, I have probably a billion and one (okay a little bit of an exaggeration) websites and databases that I had to manually download all the stuff and then move. Because not only did I move from direct admin to cpanel, but I also had to unload everything off my dedicated servers to other servers so I could have my servers redone while I was at it as well…

Anyways, things should be better now, and if you notice any problems, please leave a comment and I’ll be happy to address them…I still have some stuff to do, like update my hardware on my dedicated servers and stuff, but that’s all that stuff that I don’t do So yeah, normal posting shall resume!

So I’ve been having a huge problem with Windows Vista on one of my computers. In fact, it was with the laptop that I use primarily. For some reason, and I’ve actually heard a ton of people say this, but Windows Vista was causing my laptop to overheat! So bad, that if I used my laptop for more than 2 hours and shut it down, it wouldn’t even boot back up again until I had given it a good 15 minutes to cool down!

It’s been like this since the day I bought it, and I searched all over the internet for a fix and couldn’t find one. I should of taken the laptop back when I first realized the problem, but to be honest, I was too lazy to go through the hassle, and instead like an idiot, just dealt with the problem when it arose… or, I just used other computers (I have too many anyways!)

However, this laptop is suppose to be the fastest one I had, with the best processor and memory compared to my other computers, so I’ve always been kinda annoyed that it’s had this problem. I also figured since this was a windows vista problem, getting another computer would be kinda senseless…

I heard about others saying that they just reverted their computers to Windows XP, however, to be completely honest, besides this problem, I actually really liked Windows Vista even though it’s had a ton of complaints!!!

Anyways, so I finally decided to download and install Windows 7 Release Candidate as I plan to buy Windows 7 as soon as it comes out anyways, in fact I’ll probably preorder it here in the next day or two!

So what do I have to say about Windows 7? Well, first let me say that I believe all the hype about it being faster than Vista, I’ve definitely noticed an increase in speed in how fast it loads, shuts down, and opens programs and runs them. Before anyone says anything, I didn’t do a complete wipe on my system, I just upgraded so it’s not because there isn’t crap on my computer, there is tons of crap on it!

Also, I love the new taskbar and how it groups things and instead of long bars, just has images of the application and groups all of those applications under the image icon. I think it’s brilliant and can’t believe they didn’t think of it for Vista, it may annoy some people and you can change it back to the way your use to, but I don’t know why anyone would if they actually gave it a shot!

Now, do I recommend upgrading now to Windows 7? Well, probably not if you aren’t having any problems with your current setup as I have heard a lot of people say they’ve had software issues and compatibility issues, however, I haven’t had any kind of issue at all with Windows 7 yet…(granted I’ve only been running it for about a week now)…

If you are having problems with Vista, and you’re willing to take a chance on some compatibility issues, then I say to go for it and upgrade to the release candidate and then buy Windows 7 when it comes out as I think it’s worth every penny personally. It seems like a great solid piece of software unlike Vista. I think Microsoft truly learned from their mistake with Vista and came back with a bang on this one!

I’m sure some of you are running Windows 7 as most of us are not only affiliate marketers, but also tech enthusiasts! If you are, I’d love to hear what you think about Microsoft’s new operating system! Leave me a comment!
