Weekly Wrap Up

Say Something (1) January 19th, 2008 Derek

Hey guys, its Saturday and I have some time to throw up a post and was looking back through the blog a little and saw the last Weekly Wrap Up post I did and thought that I really liked this idea and wanted to keep it going. So again on weekends if I do a post it will be a post with links going to sites that had a topic I think each of you should read for the week.

Lets get started shall we!

First up is a post from Amit over at SuperAffiliateMindset.com. This topic gives a brief explanation as to why Adwords Editor is a must for anyone running an adwords account. He even includes pictures and tips on using it.

In case you haven’t heard, cause you live under a rock, pepperjam the leaders in search marketing have started an affiliate network called of course pepperjamnetwork. Jonathan Volk wrote a great review about them so I’m going to throw this next link to him.

Now finally, this post wasn’t created this week, but I found it this week and think its excellent so I’m suggesting that you all read it now! Its not often you see someone talk about Split Ad Testing and actually show some of their own examples. It’s written towards Google Adwords but just explains the general process so it will work with any network.

Have a great weekend!

Posts You May of Missed This Week

Say Something (2) November 17th, 2007 Derek

I’ve decided to start posting a wrap up of posts I saw during the week that I feel are must reads. I normally don’t work at all on the weekends, so I figured this would be a nice thing to do during the weekend which will also benefit you guys, hopefully letting you read great posts you might of missed otherwise.

Have you ever started a campaign in Google Adwords and noticed that even though you have your geo-targeting set to US only, you were still receiving a lot of international clicks? Paul over at UberAffiliate wrote a great post on preventing international clicks in adwords.

You all know what a credit score is, but many people are shocked with they hear about the Google Credit Rating system. Mike Peters gives a very detailed explanation on which factors can help you get a better placement in adwords for a lower cpc.

Are you using Google Analytics to grab ppc keywords for your campaigns? While this post isn’t necessarily geared towards affiliate marketing it makes perfect sense to use this in your affiliate marketing campaigns as well. A well written post on using analytics to find profitable keywords.
