Something else I think is real important is considering the consumer buying pattern changes. Generally they are more willing to try out new products at savings, instead of going with brand loyalty. This allows for more competition and a chance to grab a bigger share of the pie.

This is the big problem that everyone have to face in 2009. All nation should prepare for it. I think the Government should take extra steps to save more money for next year’s recession. Slash developments to slow pace. I think, online business will become more competitive during this period as many will venture into this field.

ooohhh, i got it now! thnks. Actually, I’ve taken what a company does offer as an incentative, then I retooled their offer in a headline like: “Earn $100 a day by giving a website away to others!”

at this point you might think that i am spamming this forum, however, the truth is I’ve re-invented their pitch, something that sells before I even exploit the deal, claiming to offer bonuses etc.. Alright.

That’s my point, but if you were to come out with something that was the same price as theirs but offered more value which could be things like bigger box or bag size, coupon for money off their next purchase, etc. It would only put you on top. Most companies don’t do this, but if you do, you can blow them away! That’s my point!

Companies most likely would not increase the value of what is being sold since they would rather gain the money. Take for example all the daily necessities are increasing in price, but nothing in the product is actually changing in quality or value.

Getting past that, I think you’re right. I don’t believe online businesses will fail. I believe the online business sector will be flooded with a whole new group of people looking to make money online. Market to the needy, and you’re golden.

im terrible with words and structure, but I believe you meant to say: “most online businesses” (as plural) alright

getting past the grammar fix, i think that it is great you have been able to sustain your level of sales while we’ve encountered the new economy

however, i do think that there have been reports of Canadian currency problems when selling to the USA. (currency cut in half — was it Chow.com who noted this?)

and, i’ve seen atleast one big blogger / affiliate claiming that he earned $200. for the month vs. six figures (economy?)

had the situation remained the same, would things be better, I cannot answer

no one can predict future events, but, it will be an interesting year —- 2009!

the safest bet, is becomming president ($)
