Hi Guys,
I'm new to the forum as well as IM. Would really be appreciative if you guys can provide some advise on this.
Lets use the Ringtones niche as an example and lets assume that we have a keyword list of 20,000 KWs.
I intend to start to Yahoo for this campaign.
My question:
a) If I setup 20 ad groups and 10 ads per ad group, do I use the same keywords for all the 10 ads? If not, what would be the recommended strategy?
Appeciate the advise.

This was for the _old_ YSM technique.
With recent changes to YSM, you should group your keywords (e.g. if you're doing ringtones, an adgroup with motorola keywords, an adgroup for samsung keywords, etc).
Then, your ads should cater to those keywords (e.g. "Ringtones for Motorola Phones", for your motorola adgroup).
You don't need to create 10, but you SHOULD create multiple ads so that you learn what type of ad wording gets the highest CTR (i.e. appeals to the most people).

If you want a high quality score and low cpc then you want to group your keywords into 10-25 keywords per adgroup and have your ads and landing pages relevant to your keywords.

That's for Adwords.
There isn't a "recommended max limit" for YSM, as long as you achieve an acceptable CTR (which seem to be around 1.5%).

Ok, with the new rules of YSM.
Can I still put in 1000 keywords in 1 adgroups but I will maintain all the keywords in the adgroup will have at least 1 same word in it?
Or I must group it into smaller adgroup?
Thanks.

I would recommend you group by (at least) TWO common words.
If you can find 1000 variations all with TWO (or more) common words, then more power to you :)

I have to second that and say that you should group the keywords using at least 2 common words per adgroup.
