Words in ads.

Ok the 1885 offer states: Your ads, whether they be on search engines or on your sites, cannot contain the word FREE. The only acceptable terms are Complimentary and Bonus.

Is this implying that the words complimentary and bonus must be used rather than free or is it trying to say you are not allowed to use free but MUST use complimentary or bonus in your ads:confused:

I know that sounds confusing but basically just wondering if those 2 terms NEED to be in your ad or does it not matter as long as "free" isn't in there.

I would take it as those words are optional; however, if you were thinking of using the word FREE it should be replaced by COMPLIMENTRARY or BONUS.

You don't HAVE to use complimentary or bonus, you're just not allowed to use free, no cost, no charge, or anything like that.
