Anyone know how YSM Editors go about reviewing ads? Like do they just review them at the start and thats it, or do they periodically review ads at random?
I had a campaign with YSM running last month. No problems at all aside from some keywords getting denied. It was running great, but I really needed to optimize it so early this month I began to stop & remake a few adgroups, when BAM! My new adgroups got killed AND every single other adgroup in this campaign........
The reason given was data collection on a site I link to.....although most offers do the same. So anyways, I remade the landing page to give it more of a "website" appeal and submitted again. Editorial review on all my ads for some reason, so I figured fuck it I'll just make an entire "real" website to please YSM since this campaign is the best one I've got right now.
I spent last two days making a pretty damn good website, great design, lots of content. Then....YSM finally accepts my other ad group and things are back to normal.....:( The website had a far worse eCPC then the simple landing page, so back to the simple stuff.
SO question again is do editors check sites initially and then just at random or basically can a campaign run indefinitely from launch if it doesn't do anything to "flag" itself?
