I'm thinking about expanding one of my profitable Google campaigns into the content network. I've never worked with it before so I was wondering if anyone can give me some tips on it.
I'm pretty much duplicating my search campaign and making it content network. On search the payout is $16'ish and I started off bidding at $.35 . I'm thinking about starting this one at .15 a click, any thoughts on initial bidding for content network?

I have a really successful campaign running on exact match search network which I recently added to content network.
I have created a new campaign so that I dont stuff up my ctr etc in search network.
In search network I am getting about 30% CTR but am finding it a lot harder to get people to click on my ads on content network ... below 1% at the moment. I am re-writing some ads and increasing bids slightly .... are there any tricks for getting higher CTR on content network?
Sorry to hijack your thread lylaster but I thought they overlapped quite a bit

Here's what I'd do.
Check to see the top 20% of the sites that your ads are appearing on. Go to them and see if your ads are relevant to the websites. If they are not, add them to the site exclusions.

As mencus said one the most important things to do is to have a campaign for each. Just set one to search and one to content.
That way you don't hurt one or the other with the other network type.
Also, remember conversions are not as high on the content network, so make sure you have good tracking so you can stop your ad showing on certain sites if they are sending you garbage traffic.
