I'd just like to welcome you to Click Consultants, and thank you for investing your trust in us. We surely will not let you down, and you will start making money instantly!

As far as rules go, I'm not going to be too specific with them. You guys paid to get in here, so I don't really expect any problems with spam issues or anything. Just be nice, and we can all help eachother out!

Another thing to keep in mind about this forum is that the affiliate/PPC industry can chage very rapidly. So while you may plan on signing up for $49.99, then leaving after a month - that's totally fine. But you will be missing out on a bunch of benefits, including :

a) Updated news on the industry and how to change your campaigns to suit these changes.

b) FREE landing pages every month. We're going to be giving away about $600 in landing page designs every month. So even if you don't want any more tips, pay $50 for a bunch of professional landing pages every month (we have Shoemoney's landing page guy working with us).

c) FREE keyword lists. Every month we're going to shell out free 10k or so keyword lists on different niches.

Also, be totally open on this forum with your peers, just like we're being open with you. Share what hasn't been working for you, and what has worked. Trust me, with the thousands of affiliates in the industry, a few telling eachother what they do isn't going to hurt yourself. Use eachother to propel yourself to the top! If you have some super advanced secret, that's fine if you want to keep it to yourself. But say if you find that turning content match off (which you all should do ) has helped you save a lot of money, just share that and help everybody else share a lot of money! If we all exchange our trials and errors, this group will make it to the top of the industry.

Alright, I've talked enough...enjoy the forum and start making some money!

I joined yesterday and have read quite a few posts. I wrote "contact us" but have not heard anything. I wish I had time to read the entire forum but first things first

Alright, I've talked enough...enjoy the forum and start making some money!

Is there a simple guide to start making some money somewhere on this site that I just haven't found? Where are the landing pages and keywords? Sorry if I missed this info in a post but the number of posts already is overwhelming.

Please just a short bullet outline to get started.

Thanks

It has links to all the relevant CC threads.

Looks like DP moderators deleted all the direct links to the threads... guess they don't approve of any affiliate links in the posts.

WARNING: With the recent YSM changes, this technique is now out-dated. Grouping and appropriate bids are now required for a successful campaign. The new technique can be found here: http://forum.clickconsultants.com/showthread.php?t=706

Below is a simple step-by-step guide, to help you get from no-knowledge to making a profit in affiliate marketing:

Sign up at Azoogle (http://www.azoogleads.com). Their ringtones offer has a huge margin, which is critical for you to keep making a profit. The biggest reason people fail at affiliate marketing, is because they don't know which offers have a high sale rate and have enough profit margins so that newbies have some room to make mistakes and still turn a profit.
Listen to Mystickcal's podcast here (http://forum.clickconsultants.com/showthread.php?t=72). It gives a detailed explanation of what he taught his original 10 students. This is all I knew when I start making money!
Watch Mystickcal's video here (http://forum.clickconsultants.com/showthread.php?t=132) that takes you step-by-step thruogh how to setup your first campaign.
Use the link provided here (http://forum.clickconsultants.com/showthread.php?t=62) to get a free $100 credit on Yahoo Search Manager (Yahoo advertising).
So far, there are 6 high quality landing pages available to members. Assuming you want to start with ringtones (that's what I did, and its hugely profitable), there are 3 good ones. Two here (http://forum.clickconsultants.com/showthread.php?t=116) and one here (http://forum.clickconsultants.com/showthread.php?t=126). I actually use one of the 3 for my site ;)
Download 10,000 keywords for Ringtones here (http://forum.clickconsultants.com/showthread.php?t=46).
While you wait for your YSM free credit to appear on your account (takes 2-3 days), you can start working on your landing page. The free landing pages have all the graphics you need. You will need to make some simple changes (like put in your affiliate codes).
You will need to create a 300-500 word article to put on yuor page. This is critical to making sure you get a good Quality Score (so that more people will see your ad). Read posts here (http://forum.clickconsultants.com/forumdisplay.php?f=17) about the things you can do to improve your Quality Score.
When creating your campaign, you'll need at least another 10,000 keywords (in addition to the 10,000 you downloaded from Click Consultants). You can buy expensive tools to do this, or learn how you can doing that using here (http://forum.clickconsultants.com/showthread.php?t=4"Yahoo's free Keyword Tool[/url].
For your campaign, you'll want lots of ads (which will help your Quality Score). Tips on how to do that, as well as how to optimize YSM campaigns can be found Once your campaign and landing pages are complete, turn on your campaign. Welcome to profitable affiliate marketing!
Once your campaign starts rolling, you'll want to turn your attention to "tuning" your ads. Tuning will increase your Quality Score (so that Yahoo shows your ad more often) and lower your cost (by removing keywords that people click on, but never buy). Tips on how to do this "tuning" can be found here (http://forum.clickconsultants.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22).

Newbies will probably take somewhere between 5-15 hours to setup their first campaign. To get started, you really only need $5 (that's the fee Yahoo charges to setup your YSM account). You could pump in more money for advertising, but that's purely optional (more adveritisng money = more ad impressions = more sales).

[U]One final word of advice: Until you are making a good profit, follow these steps EXACTLY. Don't take take short-cuts, don't be lazy, don't improvise or get creative. These steps work, so follow it!

Thanks for the great info! :)

The link for the free $100 credit on Yahoo Search Manager has expired - anybody have another?

Thanks again!
