Hey everyone, i have question to people who already using wordtracker for researching keywords.

When using research keywords on wordtracker, what terms you using ?

* keywords in any order
* exact keyword only
* exact keyword inside a search term
* with wildcards

Case:

* uppercase and lowercase combined
* uppercase and lowercase separate
* matching your original search

include misspellings?
include plurals?

The target here is getting keywords as much as possible, like building 50k keywords.

With this results, am i doing something wrong with wordtracker ? because the google research look pretty good there.

Or maybe im doing something wrong on wordtracker ?

I'm having the same problem.
Wordtracker doesn't seem to give me many results when I enter 3 word phrases.

I was using Wordze in the past and I got more results with my searches.
But I also think Wordze gives you more garbage KWs too.

Most keywords tools I've tried will dump out some junk. Its up to you to filter through it and pick the good words. This is where most of the tedium comes from foor me. A lot of the return is dependent on the input. So make sure your input is as refined and specific as possible.

Also, different tools seem to return different results. It is all a matter of where they pull their keywords from. If two lists are different but give out keywords on the same topic, then use both lists.

As for the original question, I at least try any combination of those. However I plan out before hand what keywords and phrases are relevant to what I am promoting. I then input those into Wordtracker or whatever.

Wordtracker has the ability to 'dig down' a phrase or word to get even more related phrases and terms. This is very useful if you start out with broad terms.
