Bid question

In my efforts to conquer YSM I am fine-tuning my Payday campaign right now. I see the following data for a keyword:

My Bid: $2.15
Average Position: 11
Average CPC: $0.41
CTR: 0.99%

Since the actual CPC is very low, I assume this is a safe candidate to bump up my bid price. Or am I better of getting rid of this one? I do not have enough clicks or conversions to tell if this KW is good or bad.

That seems strange that your bid and the aCPC is so different.

If it's a "highly competitive" keyword, it could be that positions 1-10 are bidding way more than $2.15. In which case, up your bid to test.

Otherwise, I'm stumped...

In general, I do not advise increasing bids until your quality is 5/5. But this might be an exception to that rule. Try it and see!

Bumped up the bid to $3.15 and now the average CPC is $2.07. Also moved from position 11 to 6.9. CTR increased to 1.96. I'll pause this one for now. I am still in the first phase of weeding out keywords.
