I launched a campaign on the yahoo content network, the first 4-5 hours showed great potential, all of a sudden (about an hour ago) it just stopped getting impressions and clicks.

Is this common?

It's most likely because of your Click Through Rate. A little more data would allow me to give you an exact reason better...but that would be my first guess.

Yesterday (being the first day) I had a ctr of 0.10 across the whole campaign which I was happy with as it had 1,000 adgroups :) Most of the individual ad groups ctr's was around 0.20, 0.50 or even higher.

Right now the strangest thing, today I logged in and it seems I have impressions/clicks on the campaign.

The only thing I can think of it that I orginally set a $50 daily budget then as the day went on I changed that to $100, the removed it as it was doing extremely well. The only weird thing is that it spent ~$70 so that doesn't really match any of the limits I gave lol.

Let's just hope today it carries on cranking those leads

It very well could of been the daily limit. Even if it was set at 50 it could of spent 70...as it's a monthly thing the daily limit even though it's called a daily limit :D

Yeah, much to my surprise it's doing really well. I know it's not huge but it's making about $200/profit a day since I have launched it.

I'm sure I can tune it to get more profit etc.

Really looking forward to the new year as I will be going full time, I just want to ensure I have a nice amount of money in the bank as a safety net first.

That's the only logical (ish) reason I could think of lol as it did fine yesterday and still going strong.

I just got worried at first

I take it on Yahoo the lower your CTR the less impressions you are given because it seems to have stopped again.

Hopefully after a few days I can cut out the adgroups that perform worse to increase the overall CTR.

Hi Richard,

Hope you are doing well. I believe it is common sometimes.
