I just read in another thread that ringtones isn't the right way to go anymore which really sucks cuz' I was really looking forward to starting my campaign today. Now I'm kind of stuck.

My situation right now:
Signed up for Azoogle yesterday. Waiting to get approved. Signed up for CJ just now, got approved within seconds after I applied so I thought I'd start out with them in the meanwhile.

Could someone please provide me with some info on what niches are hot and profitable right now?

Wait for your Azoogle account to be approved and start a dating offer!

They seem to be doing very well (according to my AM).

Ringtones are still good IMO. Try it? What have you got to loose? Only money :).

What I learned so far from joining here is quality score 100%. Just write tons of different ads then let the search engine pick which one is the best. I don't agree with the .10 on each keyword, because what I found is it always brings up the crappy keywords that I don't need :(. Although alot of people here are doing well with the .10 a click, maybe try bidding alot higher on some keywords you think will do very well? I am no guru, but for ringtones maybe choose somthing like "buy ringtones", and get it so your in the top 10 in rank. Bid .50 -.60 on it and people will actually notice it.

Some people may disagree, but I was doing the whole .10 thing for vistaprint, and as soon as I used like 150 targeted keywords, rather then 2000 "not-so targeted" ones I started to actually get some leads.

I have made ALL of my money doing it that way, so its worth a try.
