Hey guys, first off I want to apologize for the server problems we have been having for the last few days, as I posted here I think yesterday we found the problem and spry is working to fix it they insure us that are fixing it asap. Anyways, we can't hold spry accountable to our members cause you guys just don't care.
So heres what we are doing. We are going to drop the price of next months subscription for everyone from 49.99 to 29.99 a month for one month.
Now there are several ways this benefits you guys. First off, you guys get 20 dollars off :D
Secondly as most of you know we offer an affiliate program here for all cc members to refer others to CC. We give you 10 dollars per sale and you get 10 dollars for every month they are a member. So you should be able to easily get some signups with the price being dropped to 29.99 for a limited time (one month)
We can't have two seperate prices so everyone benefits for a month. Its our way of saying sorry. Thanks.

Only for a month? So what about for new members?
We have lowered the price of the forums membership to 29.99 a month from 49.99 a month. So nows the time to sign up if your not a member.
So should I let my membership expire next month and sign up as a new member to maintain the $29.99?
Obviously you're not going to raise the price for a new member after their first month, so new members will maintain $29.99 while old members get $29.99 for a month and then back to $49.99? Where the HELL is the logic in that?

It will go back to 49.99 for everyone including new members. Which we have stated that in the PreSales forum. So new members won't get anything special that you guys wouldn't. We would never do that to you guys.

Well then your message to potential members is a little misleading. Any normal person reading that would automatically assume its $29.99 monthly. I would suggest adding in the first month is $29.99 then it goes up to $49.99

You wrote $29.99 a month not $29.99 for the first month. Whenever you subscribe to something and it says $xx a month, you would be assuming that is the price for every month, correct?

One other thing, is you guys will need to cancel your subscriptions in paypal and once your current subscription expires you will then need to resign up for the forums to get the new price for the month.
I know it sounds like a pain but with vb's integrated payment processor its the only way we can do it that we are aware of.
So cancel your paypal subscription and the next time you login and aren't able to view the forums you will know that your current subscription has expired and you can simply singup again under the user cp at the new price of 29.99. Thanks.

Doing a $20 refund from PP takes too much effort?
Believe it or not yes, because of the amount of transactions that go through our paypal account each and every day. Its near impossible to find them all and issue refunds as we have well over 250 transactions each day in paypal. So this is the easiest way we could do it where its not going to take Paul and I 20+ hours to go through paypal and try to each and every transaction in the last month that is for CC.
We are sorry but we are trying our best to give back to you guys for the server being slow for the last 4 or 5 days, all we can really say is take it or leave it. Sorry.

Thanks a lot mystickcal!
Just a question : How much will the subscription fee be after this month ? will it return to $50 or $75 for new members ?
I hope you guys are paying artarmon a good bit of money, because he's doing the vast majority of the teaching here.
I would have to agree. Seems the vast majority of posts I see from Mystickcal and Sup3rnova are responses to questions/comments that have to do with the forum... subscriptions, server issues, etc.

Thanks for the one month price reduction. Well appreciated.
May I suggest sending a PM to all members to let them know to cancel and resubscribe? Otherwise you may get a few people next month asking for $20 refunds because they didn't see this post etc.

Some people might buy this, and they might buy that you can't cancel a paypal subscription from your end, but I know both are false. I also run thousands through PayPal.
I'll help you out though, you won't need to worry about any more transactions from me.
Since you're all about thinking outside the box, here's one for you: after people's subscriptin goes through have them PM you their transaction id. It then takes a couple seconds to do the refund.
I hope you guys are paying artarmon a good bit of money, because he's doing the vast majority of the teaching here.
No one said it was impossible for us to do, we said it would take to much work. Its alot easier for you guys to take 5 seconds each to cancel your subscription and resign up compared to the hours it would take us to go through all the accounts.
I seriously can't believe how many people are complaing that we are lowering the price.
Note to self, don't ever do this again.
PS: Yes artarmon does help out alot and in return he gets free membership and also, most of the stuff he says on the forums to help you guys out is stuff we have already talked about in various places on the forum which is what he is suppose to be doing. He answers questions that we have already answered. So yes it does seem like he does alot of question answering because we have new people that join everyday that asks questions we have already answered. The info here can easily be making you guys a couple thousand a month. I mean seriously.

Derek, I believe you and Paul are doing the best you can, especially considering you both have plenty of other ventures going at the same time.
I've ran a forum before, it's no easy task, and forums can be server killers, just try to be a little more prepared next time.
Other than that, everything is cool.

I can only imagine the shit I'd be taking if I told my customers I was sorry for days of horrible performance, but for the compensation they'd need to do all the work.
I guess some people are in affiliate marketing because customer service isn't their strong suit.
Artarmon isn't just answering what's already been answered, he answers everything.
Ummm...how about creating this entire site to teach people? Posting tons of beginner articles and tutorials in the learning center? Running chats where we offer live help? Posting to answer questions?
Artarmon does a great job in helping this forum tremendously, and so do other members. That's the whole point of a forum, it's a community where we all help eachother.
You also are seeming to forget about what goes on "behind the curtain"...things like building a learning center for you guys, creating videos, fixing server problems so the site is running fast and smoothly, buying landing pages, building keyword lists, thinking of new ideas for the forum and it's members, etc.
Plus the fact that we have our own affiliate campaigns and other websites to run and are working 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, we are dedicating as much time as we possibly to the forums as we can, and I think we're doing a decent job.

You guys keep mentioning how you have your own affiliate campaigns to run so you dont have enough time for the forum. Why would you even start a paid community like this if you can't give it your 1000%????
I hardly see supernova on, more then half of the members here have more posts then you.
Im not trying to throw you guys under the bus but the truth is the truth and this is what I see.

I never said we don't have enough time to run the forum, I said we are busy with other things. I don't know about you, but it looks like we have a ton of people making a lot of money...most people have made their $50 back, and many are now in the $x,xxx range.
Regardless of advice, for $29.99 you get $600 in landing pages, and keyword lists. Like I said we're also in the process of getting a Wordtracker/Wordze account for everyone to use. I mean comeon, all of that stuff is worth WAY more than $29.99/month. It's not like we give 0 advice either, go to the learning center, watch all the videos, go to a chat, and we are here posting as well.
You're getting way more than a $30 value if you ask me.

This forum is a joke, I have been saying this from the beginning. These mods are not doing ANYTHING anymore. If I say somthing bad about the forums I get banned, its rediculas.
This forum has nothing! NOTHING! You want us to run your affiliate program for you so it eventually hurts out profits? Keliix is right on 1000000% here, artarmon does all the work you guys do nothing!
O and these landing pages are not worth $600 you guys prolly pay $50 each for them. No one gives a shit about what you do with your personal life, we don't care what the members care about is what people have payed for, and no one is getting this. Another month and this forum is done...
Artarmon, open your own forum I will join!

People never stop complaining :).
You guys are complaining because you're paying $30 (well $50) to learn how to make thousands (which many of you are doing). We have given you well over $50 worth, and we're doing our best to incorporate more new things.
Like said before, if you don't like the forum then leave next month and best of luck with your affiliate things. After expenses, CC doesn't really bring in much extra income compared to what we're making in our own things. So saying that we're in this for the money is a huge understatement, because we could spend our time making 5x as much with our own sites, we just happen to like helping people.

^ wow how professional to say to a paying customer, if I walked into a resturaunt and ordered a well done steak, and it came out rare then I asked the waiter "could you cook this a little more, its too rare for me" and the waiter looked at me and said "wow, no one ever stops complaining" I would be very angry! How's it a scam again? You get tutorials, videos, landing pages, keyword lists, live chats, and help. I'm missing the scam part.

We dropped the price down $20/month. That's a pretty good deal that we didn't have to give, but we wanted to.

a) Restaurants don't teach you how to make hundreds/thousands of dollars. You pay $9 and get a $9 steak. You pay $21 more dollars here and learn enough to buy steaks for life.
b) You are complaining, and I don't understand why. You paid $50 and got a boatload of correct information, 12 landing pages, and keyword lists.
So is it $20/month or just $20 just for next month? I'm really not that dense, I'm just lost.

The only bad part is the downtime the forum is down more than it's up!!!! It's getting rediculous why would you stay with a host that goes down 20+ times a day. Everytime i get around to starting something the forum goes down and can't post because the next thing i know it's down and its been this way since i first joined. What's going to be done about this because if it continues i surely won't be sticking around?

Problems all day long. I think it has to do with limiting connections or something because if i view 2 post and go to a 3rd it goes down. Then i use a proxy to view because i cant view with my regular IP but then after a few views the proxy stops working. It is horrible i dont know why this is happening.

Everytime i come on here i view a few threads next thing site goes down "the page cannot be displayed" stays like that for minutes and does it over and over. I've been switching betweek proxies just to get on here but they keep doing the same thing. Im currently using internet explorer but i even installed firefox and get the same problems. So to be honest I'm not sure, but you seem to be the only person having problems since we had the big issue about a week ago. I know there was people complaining then, but as far as I know I havn't seen anyone say anything besides you in the last three days. So I'm not sure, I really wish I could tell you what it was, but I can say its not on our end, at least I can't see it being on our end as no one else is having a problem and also none of my monitor progs or logs or anything shows any problems.
