Does anyone do SEO on their landing pages? If so, what all do you do?
meta description?
href title tags?
img alt tags?
and what about off page SEO, does anyone do that?

I haven't been doing any off page stuff, but I have got the usual meta & alt as you mention.
I've been thinking about adding PPC campaigns to some of my existing sites that use natural search & SEO to generate traffic. Would be interested in hearing about experience anyone has in this area.
That would be way cool if you could get organic clicks for your LPs. I almost want to try that.

I was thinking more in terms of getting good QS. I'm sure adding a campaign to an existing site must give a QS boost of some kind. Seems logical. Maybe more with adwords than yahoo.

We have talked about it before, but with google seo is important even for ppc. Espeically links to your site, so don't be afraid to buy a couple text links for a couple months when starting a new lp and a new domain name.

What Is the Meta Description Tag?
It's a snippet of HTML code that belongs inside the <Head> </Head> section of a web page. It is usually placed after the Title tag and before the Meta keywords tag (if you use one), although the order is not important.
