Can someone please explain this process to me like I'm an idiot?

I understand from the SEO Book article (http://www.seobook.com/archives/000063.shtml) on it basically how it works, you use {KeyWord:MYKEYWORDHERE} but I'm trying to figure out how it can help in my marketing strategy.

EXAMPLE: I have a software product that can be used on multiple types of hardware...

My keyword list is similar to this

blue widgets device1 cheap
blue widgets device2 buy
download blue widgets device3

How can I use keyword insertion to insert the wide range of hardware types into the title of my ad copy automatically so they are bolded?

My ad copy looking similar to this:

Download {KeyWord:device1} {KeyWord:Cheap} Now!
Download and install blue widget on your
PC or MAC in 30 seconds flat.

DO I have to insert over 20 device keyword insertions into my title like {KeyWord:device1} {KeyWord:device2} {KeyWord:device3} {KeyWord:device4} {KeyWord:device5}... etc?

Please help.

It's not that smart...

{KeyWord} is a variable that will be replaced with your keyword phrase.
You can't break it out into smaller words.
And if your keyword doesn't fit in the line (the examples you gave above are too long), then the ad will show the default replacement {KeyWord:<default>}
