Is it me or is yahoo now doing keyword approval like google where everything gets approved (if it's not obviously unrelated) and then they do rolling checks?
If this is the case is the new launch technique ineffective since it requires you to pause your account, wait until keywords get approved and then launch?
so what's a good procedure? much tks

Not sure why you think the new technique is ineffective.
Once everything is out of "pending" editorial status, start the campaign.

No, they dont' just approve all the keywords at the beginning like google does. However yes they do do rolling checks every couple of days you will notice keywords getting deleted, ads, etc.

I'm not sure what's going on...
I upped a campaign 4-5 days ago it was all approved and then today I started receiving those disapproved emails from yahoo. I called them and they said they're approving everything and then checking....but, I don't have much faith in what the reps say about how the platform works...just from experience.

I'm not sure but I just uploaded some keywords for a new campaign last night and everything wasn't approved right off the bat, so I can only go by what I see happening with my own stuff.

considering that yahoo seems to auto-approve some while manually checking others, it may be possible they are doing deferred checks on the auto-approved words later on - after a campaign has gotten approval for all it's keywords and it's launched.
