I don't recommend using a blogger blog as a landing page. The reason being is that visitors trust a TLD (top level domain) alot more than another site.

I'm not saying it can't work, I just feel that for the price you can get a domain and hosting today, there really isn't a reason to get them. You can get a domain for under 8 bucks and hosting for less than 5 bucks a month.

I couldn't show you one because I personally don't have any myself and I don't know of any off the top of my head.

Also, a blog normally isn't used for a landing page, normally I use a blog as an addition to my sites to be able to easily add fresh and unique content to the site.

Hey Sean, when I say a blog I'm talking about an affiliate marketing blog. Not a blog that you would use on one of your landing sites to be able to add fresh content frequently.

However, here is an example of a landing page and a landing site.

Landing Page (Not Mine)
http://idolrings.com/

Landing Site (Basically looks like a regular website) (This is Mine, but I no longer do this niche)

Derek,

I have a question and a request for you. In the section of this article called "Don't spread yourself too thin!" you warn against starting a blog right away. This caused me to realize for the first time, I think, that I haven't the foggiest idea what a Landing Page or Landing Site (2 terms you mention in an article from a few days back) look like or how they work! I've been posting to a blog (although, admittedly sporadically) and including some Amazon ads in the sidebar and an occasional link within my content, and I'm guessing that that's neither.

So here's the request: Would you mind posting (here and/or on Twitter) some links to the different types of affiliate sites (DL, LP, LS) that you mentioned. Whether they're yours or someone else's you respect, I think it would benefit me to get an idea of what I'm trying to do, as I'm dying to get started doing it. (Doing it right, anyway.)

Thanks,
Sean
