Hey guys, well as I said in the last post I made. I haven’t been able to keep up on posting much new blog posts. I explained the main reasons for this in the last post and one of those was simply stated as personal reasons. Well, I said that I would let you guys know what was going on…so I am.
My wife left me early last week, we’ve been having marital problems for quite some time now. I really don’t want to get into a ton of the details, but, honestly I think it may be for the best. I just don’t see us going in the same direction in life anymore. I have a ton of stuff I’d like to accomplish, and she just seems to want to coast through life as easily as possible.
Anyways, I’m still hoping however that we can get some more counseling (been 3 times now), and actually see some changes, that is of course if she is even willing. She’s pretty set on getting the dissolution which as I said I think I agree with her on it, but, hopefully we can still try to work on it afterwards if she’s willing.
I don’t believe in Divorce as a Christian, but I also don’t believe staying in a relationship that causes you to sin all the time anyways by screaming, hateful remarks, swearing at each other, etc.
Also, I’m not going to be able to post very consistently while all of this is going on, so I’ll be taking on some guest posts. If you would like to write a guest post for this blog (free backlink to your site of course) please shoot it over to derek [at] clickconsultants [dot] com. I won’t post crap on this blog, so unless you’re willing to actually take the time and write something worthwhile for my readers don’t bother sending it.

Yeah right…that’s what I thought, although I guess I’ve known it was coming for a while, we’ve both been pretty unhappy lately, hopefully we can fix it with some counseling later on down the road.
Do whatever you feel is right for both of you, hope it gets resolved. You have, and are still making a commitment to trying to make it work which is good with the counseling visits. Wish the best for you.
Yeah for sure Wes and thanks for the encouragement, I’m definitely still willing to work on the marriage after a little while…I have to be completely honest that at this current moment I don’t want to do counseling or anything, I just need a month to myself to kinda assess things and let us both kinda chill.
I am truly sorry for what’s happening to you, but if you think that is the right thing to do – that’s fine. However, an advice from me – don’t ever post about what you didn’t like in your wife (e.g like you did here, saying that she was a kind of a drawback in your achievements in life), because you may both later change your minds and come back together. If she had read this post, it can only cause you extra problems and arguments.
Ehh I wasn’t really trying to say anything bad about her. I was just stating that currently we are both heading in complete opposite directions in life and unless we agree on some stuff I can’t see it working. Wasn’t trying to really dog her or anything.

Sorry to hear you’re in such a pain right now. Divorce is always a hard thing to come through. Hope you’ll resolve everything and you both’ll be happy eventually

There’s a song called “thank God for unanswered prayers” that I get now. I am successfully in my second marriage to my HS girlfriend and we have a great daughter that is 3. My 11 year old has some faced some challenges with the divorce though.
Stick with it like you did Aff Mkt but if by chance it doesn’t workout, and it might not, it truly is not the end.
